We have booked a room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for our 25th anniversary trip. Is there a way that we can request one of the rooms with a king bed rather than 2 queens? If we can, when should we make the request? Thank you for you help.

    Hi Teri,

Congratulations on reaching such a special milestone!  You picked a fabulous place to celebrate the occasion; Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is absolutely gorgeous! You can request a room with a king bed rather than two queens however there is very limited availability. There are only 25 rooms throughout Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge that have king beds. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, Jambo House and Kidani Village, have king beds available in their two bedroom Villas. They are another option to try if you are set on having a king bed in your room. It's best to make your request as far in advance of your arrival as you can. Requests are not guaranteed until check-in, but Cast Members do the very best they can to accommodate all Guests. Happy Anniversary!

    Enjoy Your Magical Visit,
