We are booked @ the Riviera for a week stay in late Nov/early Dec. My question is if we stay in a different resort on property the night before that planned stay will Disney transfer our bags to the Riviera for us?

    Hello Leslie,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Disney's Riviera Resort is gorgeous, particularly during the holidays. Even though it's a relatively small resort, it's packed with amenities, and you have the convenience of the Disney Skyliner to travel to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Plus, Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera has both an amazing character breakfast and a delicious signature dining experience in the evening with spectacular views. You are going to have an incredible week!

Yes, if you end up staying at a different Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for a night or more before your stay at Disney's Riviera Resort, you won't have to worry about transferring your luggage. Simply take it to Bell Services before you check out of your resort and let them know that you would like it transferred. Then you can head off to the parks or Disney Springs to enjoy your day. When you get to your new resort, simply pick up your luggage from Bell Services, or give them a call from your hotel room, and they'll bring it up.

On occasion, you may find that your resort room is ready before your luggage has arrived. I recommend bringing a few things that you think you might need in case you arrive before your luggage. Depending on the weather, you may want to make sure you have your bathing suits or other essentials with you when you head to the parks.

Hope this helps. Have fun planning your magical vacation!
