Hi Christine!

Thank you so much for your question! If you are looking at the family suites vs. a standard room, then yes, it will be about double the price as you are getting double the room. The standard rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort are not scheduled to be opened until December 31, so the rate you are being quoted for an Art of Animation (AoA) Resort room are indeed 'family suites' which include a queen bed in the master, a living area with 2 double size beds, a mini-kitchen and 2 bathrooms. If you want a direct comparison of a standard room, they are running $179 a night at AoA starting December 31, 2012.
