    I am booked to return home on August 15, 2021. I am booked at the Double Tree by Hilton Resort but now my husband and I are considering a resort that is located on property. We also would need to add a day and add a quick service card as well. Can we ?

    Hello, dear Kenisha! Thanks for stopping by! 

    I'm thrilled that you're considering staying at a Disney Resort hotel inside the Walt Disney World Resort. My husband and I did a lot of research when we were choosing our hotel in Orlando for our honeymoon in 2017, and we were torn like you at one point. We did a lot of research and we finally chose to stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and we didn't regret it. We actually became Disney Vacation Club members on that trip so that we could come back for many, many years and stay on property! 

    I'm sure that you will be able to find the perfect room for your trip, and also add as many days as you'd like. I encourage you to take some time to watch a few Disney Resort hotel "walk-though" videos on YouTube to make sure that you'll choose a Disney Resort hotel that matches your family.

    My favorites, for example, are Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. 

    They are all wonderful, and I often find myself torn between them when it's time to book my next Disney vacation. If you're traveling with kids, Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge are especially incredible. If you're aiming for an adults-only trip, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are unbeatable! 

    While the Dining Plans are currently on hold due to the health and safety arrangements presently in place at the Walt Disney World Resort, they may come back before August 2021. But I'd advise you to have a plan in place just in case they don't, and I have an idea for that: Disney Gift Cards. You can purchase Disney Gift Cards in advance and budget to pay for your Quick-Service and Table Service meals so that you have them all paid for before you leave home.

    Buying Disney Gift Cards every week is how my husband and I budget for our trips, as it allows us to spread out the costs over time. How does that option sound, Kanisha?
