Booked our resort and tickets for Oct 16. Can I add a dining plan later?

    Hey, Amy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Nobody should have to cook while on vacation and with the Disney Dining Plan you can eat at over 150 delicious places. You are sure to enjoy wonderful cuisine while Mickey and his gang create delicious delights for you.

My recommendation is to contact a Disney travel specialist at 407-WDISNEY (934-7639) and speak with a Cast Member. If you did not book directly through Disney, then contact your travel agent who made your Disney Park hotel reservation. They will help you make any changes you need to your reservation or enhance your Magic Your Way Vacation package if you purchased one. Typically, the Disney Dining Plan must be added 72 hours before your arrival date.

Even if you pass on the Disney Dining Plan, please make sure to make advanced dining reservations for any restaurant that you want to experience. Reservations open 180 days in advance and some places, like Chef Mickey's and Be Our Guest Restaurant, fill up quickly.

Disney Dad Tip: If you do not have a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, I would discuss with your Disney travel specialist getting one. With all the magical extras and discounts you may end up spending less on your vacation.

Amy, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories!
