Hey there, Harleigh!
This is a great question! Yes, you can absolutely link your resort stay to your
My Disney Experience account, and once it’s linked, it will function just like a Disney-booked reservation.
First, you’ll need your Disney reservation confirmation number. This is usually provided by the third-party company, but sometimes it’s listed as a Disney confirmation number specifically, so you may need to ask them for it if you don’t already have it.
Once you have that, log in to My Disney Experience on the app or website. Go to My Plans, then look for the option that says
Link a Reservation. Next, you'll choose Resort Hotel, and then enter the confirmation number along with the last name on the reservation. If everything matches, the stay should link right away.
If the system doesn’t recognize the reservation, don’t panic. That usually just means Disney hasn’t fully synced the booking yet. I always recommend
calling Disney directly and speaking with a Cast Member. They can manually locate the reservation and link it for you. This is especially helpful if your trip is coming up soon or if you need access to perks like early theme park entry, dining reservations, or MagicBand ordering.
Once it’s linked, you’ll be able to manage plans, see your resort details, and enjoy all the on-site benefits right from your Disney account.
I hope this helps, Harleigh! Enjoy your upcoming trip and stop by again soon if you have any other questions.
Toodles,
Korliss
