If I have booked a resort stay package for September 2024 how early can a book park reservations? Thanks

    Hiya Kara!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for bringing us your question and let me say that your timing is just perfection!

We just learned today that starting after January 9, 2024 guests with vacation packages with date-based tickets no longer have to make Theme Park Reservations! That means your September 2024 package may be perfectly fine just as it is.

Today's update was also so exciting in that they announced the continuation of Early Theme Park entry and the return of the Disney Dining Plan! On May 31, 2023, you can choose to add a dining plan to your existing package since your stay is after January 9, 2024. Now, I don't know if you got any Disney Dining Credit from an earlier offered deal but unfortunately, you cannot use it towards the cost of the dining plan but it can be used along with it. You could be stuffing your self like Pooh with honey! My favorite time to use the Disney Dining Plan is during festivals as many food items were included with a snack credit!

I hope this helps and you have a magical time!

    Happy Planning!
