    I booked my resort stay with flight via Delta. I might have to cancel and rebook for payment purposes since I didn't know gift cards only work for new bookings. What will this do to my resort reservation since I completed the online check in process?

    I am sorry you are having some mix-ups with your payment methods. Let's get everything fixed! It is time for fun and to start counting down to your magical vacation to Walt Disney World!

    Since you booked through a third party (Delta in this case) you will need to work through the changes with them. I don't know what kind of gift cards you are planning to use, but if they are Disney Gift Cards, they can be used on property anywhere you would use a credit card. Use your Disney Gift Cards for shopping, dining, and more! So perhaps you could keep your original reservation payment and use your Disney Gift Cards on property to pay for all the extra charges you will have along the way. 

    If you have a different type of gift card, give your travel contact at Delta a call to figure out the best course of action. Hopefully it will be simple and you can keep your current reservation "as-is." If you do make any changes, make sure to inquire about any change or cancelation fees.

    Once you are satisfied with your travel plans, read through Know Before You Go. It is just a reminder of all the details of a Walt Disney World vacation to make sure you are all lined up and ready put on your Mouse ears and go!
