Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Jason!
You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney. How exciting that you have a magical Disney stay to look forward to in a few short months. Our family loves our stays at Disney Vacation Club Resorts, because wherever you wander, and wherever you roam,
Disney Vacation Club is always your home sweet home!
Jason, last year, our family had the same situation. We booked several nights at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge in a one-bedroom Villa using our Disney Vacation Club Points, and then we added another night in the same one-bedroom Villa at the same Resort using cash. As a result, we had two reservation numbers.
What I would recommend is to first call
Member Services to ask them to make a note that the two reservations are linked. Then, when you check in to the Resort, be sure to tell the Front Desk Cast Member that the two reservations are linked and that you would like to stay in the same room. As long as they are the same room type and category at the same Resort, they should be able to do this for you. The Front Desk Cast Member waved her magic wand for us, and even though we still got a "room is ready" notice, we remained in the same room. We did not have to check out and check back in, and we were able to enjoy the same home-sweet-home for the additional night with no disruption to our stay.
I hope this helps you, Jason! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, soar back here to see us and we will be so happy to help you. After all, you've got a friend in us!
Magically Yours,
Keri
