Hiya Tina,
Welcome to planDisney! Are you excited about your October vacation to Walt Disney World Resort?! I may be a little biased, but I love visiting Walt Disney World Resort in the Fall. I love the Halloween decorations, the mild temperatures, and the
Halloween After Hours Event at Magic Kingdom. This year will be extra special because of the addition of
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! I cannot wait to ride Walt Disney's newest attraction when I visit in the Fall.
Now enough about me; let's see if I can help you check another item off your planning checklist. Now that your Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel and Theme Park Tickets are secured, it is time to book Disney Park Pass Reservations. Availability is limited, so I would make your Disney Park Pass Reservations as soon as possible so that you can secure the Theme Park that you want on the days that you would like. I took a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, and October has plenty of availability at the moment, but that can all change, so make those reservations today.
Before making park reservations, please first make sure that you link your Theme Park Tickets and Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel to your
My Disney Experience account. If you made your reservations through the official Walt Disney World Resort website, this almost always happens automatically. Still, if you didn't, you will need to take the extra step to do so before making Disney Park Pass Reservations. How do you know if your reservations are linked? When you log in to My Disney Experience, if you see your vacation details and confirmation number for your upcoming vacation under "My Plans," your reservation is already linked. If it is blank, click on the ticket icon with Mickey Mouse's ears. You will then select "Link Tickets" from the options presented. Enter your ticket confirmation order number for each ticket, and your tickets will be linked to your account. You can proceed to make Disney Park Pass Reservations.
To reserve your Park Pass reservations, please follow these easy steps:
1. Make sure that everyone in your family is added to your
Family and Friends list. This will allow you to get park reservations for all of you simultaneously.
2. Visit the
Disney Park Pass webpage for current pass availability for the dates of your trip. If the date is:
-Green: then all the four Theme Parks are available for that day
-Yellow: means that only some of the Theme Parks have availability that day
-Grey: this means there is no Theme Park availability for any of the Theme Parks for that day.
3. Finally, select the Theme Park you wish to visit from the options available and confirm your Disney Park Pass Reservations for you and your family.
I hope this is helpful! If there is anything else we can help you with as you continue planning your trip, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
