Hi Rachel and bienvenue to planDisney!
It looks as though you will be arriving at
Disneyland Paris just a few days before my family's next visit. Are you counting down the days yet?
Despite having visited Disneyland Paris many times, over the years, we have never experienced
Disney Enchanted Christmas so are super excited about that, as I am sure you are, too. During your visit, you can expect to see Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade, "Let's Sing Christmas!" musical show, magical character encounters with characters dressed in their festive finest and much more!
Going back to your question, Rachel, the
Reserved Viewing Area offers a prime viewing location and with only a limited number of places available in the dedicated zone, you'll be guaranteed a great view of the
nighttime show!
I am pleased to tell you that if you booked directly with Disneyland Paris, there are 2 ways to book the Reserved Viewing Area for the nighttime show at Disneyland Paris:-
1/ You can add this via your
MyDisney Account once your Hotel+Ticket package has been paid for in full.
2/ By contacting Disneyland Paris via the Live Chat function which can be accessed by clicking on "Ask your question" in the blue box that says "Need help?" which pops up while you are browsing the Disneyland Paris website and/or
Disneyland Paris App.
I was advised by a Disney Agent on the Disneyland Paris Live Chat function last week that it is only currently possible to book this
Magical Extra for dates through September 2025. They advised that they should have more information about the next release in September.
If you made your booking through a Travel Agency then it is only possible to reserve viewing areas via the Disneyland Paris App 1 week before your arrival date.
Please do also know that there are lots of great places to watch the nighttime show from outside of the reserved viewing area. I'll let you into a little secret, my family usually stand behind the low railings, in the castle hub area, facing Sleeping Beauty Castle, closest to the walkway towards Frontierland. This is a great spot as no-one can stand in front of you and there are no trees obscuring your view. I would, however, recommend getting there at least an hour before the start of the show, in order to secure your space.
I do hope that this has answered your question, Rachel. Please feel free to re-visit us here at planDisney if we can be of any further assistance with the planning of your trip.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
