We have booked reservations for our two week stay at Disney World as a Wilderness Lodge guest. We checked all of the restaurants take Disney Dining plan, which we are on, however does the restaurant need to know that we are using the DP prior to our visit?

Hi Cheryl!

I love using the Disney Dining Plan on my Walt Disney World vacations! The restaurant does not need to know ahead of time if you are on the Disney Dining Plan. When you get to the restaurant and sit down at your table, you will be asked whether you are on the Disney Dining Plan or not. The next question that your server will ask is what is the particular Dining Plan that you have and they usually look at your Key to the World Card (your room key) to verify this information.
