    I've booked reservations for lunch at Tusker House and Akershus for 3:15pm . I've noticed that lunch ends at both restaurants at 3:30. Will we be cut short or have old/cold food because we're at the end of lunch slot?

    Hi Ashley!

    Tusker House at Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite restaurants for lunch!  I love the variety of offerings and it's always fun to try new foods.  

    I often dine at the end of the posted meal times (because sometimes that's all I can get a reservation for), but when it says that lunch is until 3:30PM, that means that 3:30PM is the last reservation time that you can make.  You'll still see Guests being seated until 3:30PM.  The buffets will be well stocked until the last family leaves.  The same is true for characters as well.  They will not leave until every Guest has had an opportunity for a meet and great.  

    Once I had the last reservation time at Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios and my group was the last to leave the restaurant.  Every single dish was still fresh and available on the buffet and we even had a little extra time with the characters!

    No worries about being at the tail end of lunch at either of these restaurants.  You are sure to have a fabulous dining experience.
