Hi, I booked a reservation for the fireworks desert pre party! I was curious if this is going to interfere with us seeing the starlight parade?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Nikki!

Oh, you have booked one of my absolute favorite experiences in all of Walt Disney World: Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Pre-Party! So magical!

As the days get longer and the temps get warmer, you may notice some park hours being extended. That's great news for your stay because Magic Kingdom Park may be open just late enough to host not one but two showings of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade. If so, chances are that you'll be able to catch one of these beauties on your night at Magic Kingdom. Keep your eye on the Magic Kingdom Hours & Events Calendar for updated times as your visit approaches.

Because your fireworks dessert pre-party includes a check-in time at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant of 90 minutes prior to fireworks, you may be able to see the nighttime parade that takes place before your check-in. If that's the case, I recommend that you pick a spot near the curb in front of Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. Once that beauty of a parade passes, you'll be just steps away from your check-in--and on the right side of Main Street, U.S.A., not having to cross to get to your destination.

If there is a second showing of this beautiful parade, just linger in your fireworks viewing spot at Plaza Garden; as the crowds flow toward the park exit, you can find a spot to stick around, giving you a likely much less-crowded view. Either way, you're going to love this experience!

Nikki, as you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
