Hi there, Amber. I'm so glad you've stopped by
planDisney to chit-chat with me about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
September is such a great month to visit. The weather is still nice and warm which is perfect for an afternoon swim which is one of my favorite things to do after a long morning in the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Plus,
Magic Kingdom Park will be all decorated up for Halloween. It makes for some really great pictures!
I think you are really going to enjoy staying in a family suite, Amber. They really do provide so much more space which I really enjoy. Amber, it's hard to say if you can add your friend on for part of the time without knowing a little more information but I'm going to try to break down some of the options.
If you booked a
Walt Disney World vacation package with tickets and a resort stay, you won't be able to add on your friend for only part of the time without her having to purchase the same package that you did. Vacation packages work on an all-or-nothing system so everyone staying in that room under the vacation package would all have to be the same. However, if you've booked just a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel stay and then purchased your tickets separately, this is possible. Since there is extra space on the reservation, you can just add her on and then she can come whenever she is available. Then, they can just purchase tickets on their own. There isn't a way to only add your friend for part of the time so they would need to be added for the entire length of stay.
Because I don't know the details of your booking, I would suggest calling Guest Services at (407) 939-7639. A Cast Member will be able to look and give you all of your options regarding adding your friend to your reservation.
I hope it works out, Amber. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help!
Have fun.
