I just booked a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table. The time wasn’t the greatest. Is there any way of booking a better time (if one should come available), and cancelling the current reservation? I should mention we are on the dining plan.

Hello Lisa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Obtaining the best date and time for Advanced Dining Reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table is oftentimes quite difficult. One needs to act fast when the coveted spots become available (if they ever do).

The easiest way to obtain the new Advanced Dining Reservations is to book them immediately when you can get them and then to cancel the old reservations. This becomes a hassle with credit card payments once charges are made, canceled and remade again, but worth it for the preferable date and time.

As a fellow Canadian, I can empathize with booking on credit cards when currency exchange is at play and recommend that you consider obtaining a US funds credit card if you visit Walt Disney World Resort frequently for these type of situations.

As far as the Disney Dining Plan is concerned, your credits should be redeemable through My Disney Experience once you Check-In Online up to 60 days in advance of your vacation. If you have already booked your Advanced Dining Reservations, simply inform your server when you arrive at Cinderella's Royal Table that you wish to redeem Disney Dining Plan credits for the experience and the funds will be returned to your credit card.

    Have a Magical Visit!
