Ahoy, Neal, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
Neal, I just disembarked the
Disney Dream a few weeks ago and spent a little time each day in
Senses Spa with the Rainforest package, so I'm happy to chat with you. If you are ready to embrace calm and relaxation then you made a great choice in pre-booking this opportunity.
My first recommendation is to stop in the spa and chat with one of the crew members when you board the ship. On our sailing, there was an open house at the spa while we were still in port and it was very helpful to see the general layout and ask any last-minute questions. You can view the open house times on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
On our cruise, guests did NOT need specific reservations to enjoy their Rainforest package. I visited at a different time every day. I will say that there were days when multiple guests were using the hot tubs overlooking the ocean and other days when they were empty. On my sailing, the use of all of the showers, different sauna rooms, stone loungers, etc. were on a first-come, first-served basis, but I'll encourage you to check with a crew member as it's possible they will manage usage differently based on the number of packages sold. While it's important to remember that each sailing is different, I never found the rooms overcrowded and if one area (sauna or hot tub) was taken, I selected something different until that area was vacated.
Make sure every time that you visit to have your
Key to the World Card handy because you will temporarily trade that in at the desk for a band granting you access to all of the Rainforest areas.
Neal, I hope you enjoy your time at Senses Spa and can try out every room, shower, and relaxation area available. Laying on those heated stone loungers, looking out over the ocean will certainly help melt away any stress with each wave that passes.
If you have any other questions, please come on back to planDisney. Wishing you a wonderful voyage.
Lauren
