I booked a quick service 6 night with water fun for nov at pop. After talking to my kids, they wouldn't mind staying at a mod if a promotion comes available. Can I change hotel/dining pk, or do I lose my deposit?

    Hi Amber,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

From what I understand, you’re definitely welcome to make changes to your Magic Your Way Vacation Package if a Special Offer comes out that would allow you to “upgrade” your choice of Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. You certainly wouldn’t lose your deposit!

The one caveat that I would give you would be that, you will have to cancel and re-book your Vacation Package with a Resort that offers the special offer that you’d like to use. You may get lucky and be able to get a package that is identical to the one you had initially booked, but there is a chance that you may not. In that case, you'll have to choose a different room type/Resort if you want to take advantage of the special offer, or you'll have to stick with your original package (and cost).

I hope this helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
