Hello, dear Susan!
You came to the right place. We're all adults that enjoy our fair share of character meals and encounters, so don't worry. You found your tribe!
I'll share some of my favorites since the palette of character dining experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort is very, very broad!
My number one character meal right now is the
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. The ambiance there is unparalleled. I recently took my family of six adults for a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, and this was their absolute favorite meal. Meeting Grumpy, Dopey, and Snow White was extraordinary!
Dinner at
1900 Park Fare is also a blast for adults. The Tremaine sisters are wickedly fun, and Cinderella and Prince Charming are the perfect hosts. By dining there, you will also get to visit
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and it has one of the most beautiful and pleasant lobbies at the Walt Disney World Resort.
For lunch,
Tusker House Restaurant at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is my number one option. The food is outstanding! This meal is hosted by Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Mickey. It can't get much better than that, can it?
Finally, for breakfast, my suggestion is
Trattoria al Forno at
Disney's BoardWalk. My friends recently visited, and they loved it. How can you not enjoy a character meal with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider?
If you want to browse more options, please, visit this
custom list, Susan. Reservations are a must for all character dining experiences, and I suggest making them precisely 180 days before your meals at 6 a.m. EST. The best tool to do so, in my opinion, is the
My Disney Experience app.
If you have reservations to stay at a
Disney Resort hotel, you will also be able to make dining bookings for up to 10 days at the 180-day mark.
Among many other benefits, that's a very strategic head start!
I hope you like our suggestions, Susan. The Disney Parks Moms Panel will be here to help you as more questions pop up, so, please, keep bringing them to us!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
