Hi there Alesia! I'm thrilled you're back at planDisney with another great question. And how wonderful that you will start 2021 with a magical vacation! When Elsa is making things chilly in January, there's nothing better than escaping to the Sunshine State.
Like you, our family also had to reschedule a few adventures due to the pandemic. I felt happier than Princess Anna when the gates at the
Magic Kingdom Park opened in what seemed like the first time in forever! When we finally returned to the Most Magical Place on Earth in August, we were extremely pleased with
Disney's health and safety measures. My kids loved donning the new
shopDisney face coverings they had picked out before our visit, and they made for some unique and adorable photos.
Alesia, since you received a
Magical Extras Card as part of your
Walt Disney World Vacation Package, you can request a new card for your 2021 trip.
I recommend calling (407) 939-5277, and a friendly Cast Member should be able to assist you. You'll want to review the 2021 Magical Extras to discover all that awaits you in the new year. A round of miniature golf at one of Disney's two highly themed courses is a really fun activity, especially in January when the weather won't have you melting like Olaf in summer. My family enjoys teeing off at
Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course at the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, as it can be easily reached by watercraft or on foot from both
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Check the hours before you go as it may be possible to play after the nearby theme parks close.
I hope this helps as you continue to dream about your winter getaway. Be sure to keep your eyes on the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Know Before You Go pages for operational updates and additional offerings as we progress through Walt Disney World's phased reopening. I hope you have a fantastic visit, and if anything else comes up, we're all ears and happy to help.
See ya real soon!
