Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a practically perfect spot for your vacation. The location cannot be beat - just a quick walk to
Magic Kingdom Park, or a magical monorail ride to the park, the other hotels surrounding Seven Seas Lagoon, and the Transportation & Ticket Center. One of my favorite parts of staying at any of the "monorail loop" hotels, including Bay Lake Tower, is enjoying the
Electrical Water Pageant, which has been appearing nightly on the lagoon and Bay Lake for decades!
Laura, booking a Preferred View studio or villa means that you will have a view of the pool and Bay Lake. My best advice would be to request a south-facing room on a high floor, which will give you a great view of the lake. You can make this request via DVC
Member Services - while this can't be guaranteed, the Cast Members will do their best to make it happen! There are many online forums where other Disney aficionados post specific room numbers and sometimes even photos of the view from that location that may also help you decide what you want to ask for.
