    Hi! We have booked a preferred room at the Riverside this May. We were wondering how long of a walk it would be to get to the pool or to get beignets at the french quarter? Is it a reasonable walk? Is there bus transportation between the two resorts?

    Hi Jeanette,

    You will really enjoy staying at Port Orleans, Riverside.  
    There are six pools, so you will not have far to walk to find a pool.
    You have a couple of options of getting to the French Quarter.  You can take a nice walk along the Sassagoula river or you can take the boat.

    I would say if you are going over to the French Quarter to have the beignets a good healthy walk there and back would be worth it!
