I booked a preferred room at Caribbean Beach. How can I request that is a 5th sleeper room?

Hello Nicole! Welcome to planDisney! I see it's just a few days until you'll be treating yourself to some sun, sand, and the island vibes of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort! As I look at the weather report calling for snow here in Missouri, I think we know which of us will be having more fun next week!

As a Disney Cruise Line Specialist and someone who grew up taking the train to Walt Disney World Resort, I have a special affinity for beds that fold out of walls and down from the ceiling! While the fifth sleeper options at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort (and others like them across the Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotels) may be sized for a child, they are no less cool - especially as a way to max-out the capacity of a single room on your vacation!

I sailed on over to talk to a Cast Member to confirm and they informed me that they would have suggested making this request at the time of booking on the checkout page. There, beneath the list of Guests, there should have been a section for "Room and Amenity requests."

Now, if you did not make that request at the time of booking, don't fret! I'd suggest calling Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort's Front Desk as soon as possible! You can find that number on its overview page and inquire as to the availability of the fifth sleeper rooms! Unfortunately there are no guarantees one will be available, but it's possible that since your party has five Guests on the reservation that you are already assigned one!

I'm unsure how many fifth sleepers are at the Caribbean Beach Resort, however, one distinct advantage is how large that particular resort is! Bigger resort means more rooms and more possibility for there to be the type you need!

If I were the Genie I'd grant you your wish, Nicole, but I hope I've at least given you a step in the right direction!  I'll be sending faith, trust, and pixie dust your way in the hopes that the Cast Members have good news for you when you call! Thank you so much for your question, and if you come up with any others as you finalize your plans, you know where to find us here at planDisney!
