    I just booked a preferred room at Caribbean Beach for July 2020. It looks like the Skyliner station is near Aruba. Is it a super long walk from the Skyliner, across Barefoot Bay, back to the preferred room islands?

     Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa. We just love helping you plan your Disney vacations!

     I'm so pleased to hear you've booked a stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. My family just booked a stay at this island paradise too! It's always been a favorite of ours, but we're excited to take advantage of the new Disney Skyliner aerial gondolas. Soon, traveling to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will be more convenient than ever before! 

     While I don't know yet how long the walk will take from the Disney Skyliner station to the islands of Martinique and Barbados (where Preferred Rooms are located), I can tell you the walk from Aruba to Old Port Royale is about 5 - 10 minutes. The path across Barefoot Bay and through Caribbean Cay is lovely and well-shaded with lots of lush landscaping and tall palm trees. Old Port Royale is nestled between Martinique and Barbados, so the walk from that location to your room shouldn't be far at all. 

     Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog while you're planning your upcoming vacation. It's your best resource for news and updates about Disney Parks and Destinations. It's there you'll hear the news that the Disney Skyliner is officially open for pixie-dusted travel!
