We booked a pre-departure hotel stay at Disney World at the same time that we booked our cruise. How do we link the hotel reservation in the My Disney Experience app? The cruise confirmation number isn’t working. Thanks!

Ahoy, Megan, and welcome aboard planDisney. There is nothing better than surf and turf, especially when it combines Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line adventures. Let's get you all ready to set sail on your voyage.

When you book Pre- and Post-Cruise Hotel Stays with your Disney Cruise Line reservation, you will receive a confirmation number. This is the universal number for all parts of your booking and should be able to link with your My Disney Experience account. If it does not link then please contact a Cast Member with the Disney Cruise Line Website Resolution Team at 1-800-939-2784 or 407-566-7000 (Press "1" for assistance). This is the current menu option. They will be able to get your hotel reservation linked.

I would be remiss if I did not mention Ground Transportation. While we have made trips to Port Canaveral many different ways, by far the easiest is arranging directly with Disney Cruise Line. There are a few ways to add Ground Transportation from Disney Resorts Collection hotels to Port Canaveral.

    1. Under reservation options on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App
    2. On the Disney Cruise Line website: Select Already Booked on the upper right and then "Ground Transportation" from the drop-down menu
    3. Call and speak with a Cast Member - the only option if you are reserving a one-way trip

Once at Walt Disney World Resort, you can go straight to your room with Resort Hotel Online Check-in. Please be sure to call Guest Services from the room to ask exactly where your transport will pick you up in the morning. It should be on your confirmation email that you will receive before your cruise.

planDisney Pro Tip: If you have a MagicBand+ or a new DisneyBand+ (looks the same, acts the same, just has a different name) you may link them both to the My Disney Experience Mobile App and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. That is super convenient!

Meghan, I hope your shore-to-shining-sea adventure is a wish come true. Please feel free to drop anchor at planDisney again for more Disney vacation planning tips.

Enjoy making many Magical Memories on the High Seas.
