We have booked the Port Orleans Riverside resort in May. In reading, I found one place that offers a trundle bed and two full beds. In another, a king bed is mentioned. Is it possible to have a king bed for my husband and me and a trundle for 3yr old?

    Hi Amy,

I think Port Orleans Riverside is a very nice choice for a Moderate Resort.  For the rooms that offer 2 double-sized beds, some are available that also have a trundle bed (Trundle beds are 35" X 65" and not recommended for Guests over 9 years of age), so you could certainly use this for your 3 year old to sleep in.  You will also have to make a special request when making your Resort reservation for one of these rooms as not all are equipped this way.

Your other option is a request for a room with a King bed, but these rooms do not seem to offer a trundle bed so the maximum occupancy for this type of room is 2 people.  You could request a Pack 'n Play playard if you choose the King bed but I don't think this would be a comfortable choice for your 3 year old plus they are recommended for children under the age of 3.

I think your best bet would be the 2 double-sized beds and if you are lucky enough to get a trundle bed as well, then you will be very comfortable just the 3 of you.  Hope you have a magical time at Port Orleans Riverside Resort in May.

    Best wishes,
