    I booked Port Orleans FQ for next year and upgraded to the full dining plan. I want to do a split stay and end our holiday with a few nights at Animal Kingdom. On the day I check out of FQ and into AKL will I be able to use a dining credit that evening?

    How exciting that you've already booked a stay at Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter for next year complete with an upgrade to the Disney Dining Plan. Don't you just love having a brand new, Disney holiday to count down the days to?

    My family love using the Disney Dining Plan when we visit Walt Disney World. Not only does it help us to budget for our holiday, knowing that the majority of our food and drink is paid for before we even arrive but, we also find them really easy and convenient to use during our stay.

    Sharon, I have to admit that adding a few nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge, at the end of your trip, sounds like a practically perfect way to finish your visit to Walt Disney World. 

    I am very happy to tell you that Disney Dining Plan meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on the reservation checkout date. So yes, you would indeed be able to use your Disney Dining Plan meal entitlements, right up until midnight, on the day that you check-out of Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and check-in at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

    Have you started thinking about which Table-Service restaurants you might like to eat at yet? Here's a few of my favourites:-

    'Ohana at the Polynesian Village Resort
    Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village (the Indian style bread service is amazing!)
    Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria at EPCOT
