I just booked pop century for November 2014. We've stayed at Polynesian, Coronado and Caribbean beach. We are going on more a budget this time. Can I get opinions on pop? Also I paid for the preferred room. What does that get you I.e what area or resort.

    HI Jennifer,

Disney's Pop Century Resort is our family's favorite Value Resort Hotel at Walt Disney World. We love the different themed areas, and our kids love seeing the decades change from area to area. My husband and I enjoy the music and sometimes quiz each other on who the singers and groups are. It's a great family-friendly Disney resort.

We've also tried the preferred rooms just to see if there are any differences in experience. With a preferred room, you are placed closer to the main area of the Resort, Classic Hall. The rooms are usually closer to the Everything Pop Food Court and Gift Shop, as well as the complimentary Disney transportation area.

The preferred rooms at Pop Century Resort are found in the 50s section buildings near Classic Hall, in the 60s section (except the lake area rooms), and the 70s section buildings near Classic Hall.

I hope this answered your questions, Jennifer. If you have any other questions about Pop Century Resort, or any other aspect of your vacation planning, please feel free to ask at any time. I'm always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
