    Hello, We have booked at POP century in December and see that I can purchase pre-arrival Magic Band + for a discounted price. My family is also going to Disneyland the July prior. Can I link the Pre-arrival band to Disneyland first and then back to DW?

    Hi there, Kathryn!  You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!

    As someone who loves both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, I am so excited to hear about your upcoming vacation plans!  You're going to have a little extra pixie dust sprinkled over your upcoming trips now that you can use Disney bands at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.  

    I'm happy to tell you that if you purchase a Disney band at Walt Disney World Resort, the same band can be used at Disneyland Resort.  However, please note that only the latest generation of bands are supported at Disneyland Resort.  Unfortunately, I don't think your plan to purchase a band with the pre-arrival discount will work in your particular situation.  Since Disney bands cannot be shipped internationally, if you purchase pre-arrival bands through your December Walt Disney World Resort reservation, they will not be sent to you in Canada.  Instead, they would be held for you at your resort hotel.  Therefore, you would not have them to use during your earlier trip to Disneyland Resort.

    I would recommend that you purchase your Disney bands from one of the many retail locations throughout Disneyland Resort during your summer vacation.  World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District is my go-to spot for shopping.  Then you can bring those same Disney bands along with you when you visit Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season.
