    Just booked Pop Century for the dates Jan. 30- Feb. 9, 2022. Are there any sporting events occurring during that time frame that may make this resort more crowded than normal? Thank you!

    Hello, again Karen!  Thanks so much for asking me another question here at planDisney.  It's always so lovely to help a returning Guest!

    I am delighted to hEAR that you've gone ahead and booked a magical stay for the end of January/early February 2022 at the larger-than-life Disney's Pop Century Resort!  One of the wonderful things about staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort is that it connects Guests via the Disney Skyliner service to Disney's Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway area of Epcot, plus to Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and last but not least Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.

    You are smart to be thinking so far ahead and checking if there are any expected sporting events scheduled to be held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort.  On your behalf, I've undertaken a little research and I'm happy to share that Guests can access the ESPN Wide World of Sports - Events Calendar to take a peek at any upcoming sporting events being hosted at this incredible venue. 

    At this time I don't see any events at ESPN Wide World of Sports being held during the dates you'll be vacationing at Disney's Pop Century Resort.  However, Karen please do bear in mind that everything is always subject to change at Walt Disney World Resort.
