Hello Kristy,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question!
Let’s start with your chosen Disney Resort hotel. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter offers so many
recreation options that you would be able to spend all your extra time just enjoying their great activities. I am sure they will be thrilled to make a splash at the Doubloon Lagoon pool or at Ol’ Man Island, located just a short walk away at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. In addition, you can’t miss Movies Under the Stars to watch complimentary screenings of Disney classics on the French Quarter green. Another great option is the Cajun Campfire Activities where the whole family can gather around a cozy fire to roast marshmallows.
Young buccaneers can set sail on a
Pirate Adventure Cruise in search for treasures! They will learn all about legends of pirates and have a delicious snack. This is a popular activity so call (407) 939-7529 for reservations.
I also recommend breakfast or brunch at
Chef Mickey’s. Located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, this is our favorite character dining experience where you can meet and greet Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto. We usually make reservations for our last day to take some extra pixie dust on the way home.
I hope you like my suggestions. Please come back to tell us your kids’ favorites!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
