We're are booked for 10/16-10/23. We are planning to attend MNSSHP one of those evenings with our 5yr old daughter. Can I purchase tickets if it's over 180 days out? Which night would you recommend attending?

Hey Aimee! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is hands down my favorite extra ticket event at the Walt Disney World Resort. This party is one of our “must do’s” when visiting during the fall season. Our kids love dressing up in their Halloween Costumes and we find that can’t stop singing the song from Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade even after it’s over!

As soon as tickets go on sale for this even you are able to purchase them even if it is over 180 days out of your planned evening. The 180 day mark is important when thinking about booking dining reservations. As a Walt Disney World Resort guest, you are able to make dining reservations 180 days in advance of your arrival date. I actually do recommend purchasing them early because these parties do tend to sell out especially as Halloween gets closer! We typically try to go to a party in the early or middle part of the week. I like to attend on Tuesday’s or Wednesday’s if they are available. It has seemed to me in the past that if you go mid-week it doesn’t seem to be as busy as if you were to go during the weekend.

I hope that you and your family have an Unforgettable time at this super fun event! Please stop back with any additional vacation planning questions that you may have!
