I have booked and placed a deposit on a vacation, that looks like now I'll need to cancel. Will my deposit be refunded?? I am 10 months away from the planned trip. I did book the insurance

Hi, Yvette,   Sorry you need to cancel your vacation.  I hope you will be able to visit Disney on another occassion.

I don't know if you booked directly through Disney, AAA, or travel agent.  I suggest you call directly to the place you booked your vacation.   If it is Disney, you should not have any problem canceling and getting your deposit refunded.  If you booked through any other way, the only way to know is to call and find out their policy.   It always seems the sooner you call the better, the closer you get to the vacation the harder it gets to cancel!

You will have to cancel through the same method you made your reservation.   Have your confirmation number handy.   Hope to see you in Disney real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
