I love that you’re booked on a Pixar Days at Sea sailing! My family and I love
Pixar Days at Sea so much that we’ve done it multiple times, and it remains one of our favorite itineraries that we keep coming back to! I would be happy to share the process of how Rotational Dining works on board your cruise.
Rotational Dining is Disney Cruise Line’s method of making sure that you and your family can enjoy each of the three main dining restaurants at least once during your sailing. Since you’re sailing on a 5-Night cruise, you will visit two of the restaurants twice and one of them once.
Getting to try each restaurant at least once is one of the best things about Rotational Dining! The other amazing part is the personalized Dining Team you’re assigned as part of the Rotational Dining process. They get to know your dining preferences so well and rotate with you each evening. I find that we become fast friends because we spend the whole cruise together, and we truly miss them when the cruise ends!
You can find your Rotational Dining schedule at the cruise port on embarkation day in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. This is why it’s impossible for us to know which restaurants you will visit on certain days before you arrive at the port.
If you would like to request to be at
Animator’s Palate on any of the nights, you can call Disney Cruise Line and put this notation in. While it’s never guaranteed, it never hurts to try. I’ve been successful in making this same request in the past, but again, this is dependent on availability and never guaranteed.
Lastly, I want to remind you to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and check the “Daily Plans” for all the fun Pixar-themed activities on board! You’re going to find so many fun Character Meet-and-Greets, trivia games, and more! I suggest putting a heart next to each activity that you would like to do, so that the app reminds you 15-minutes before it’s time to arrive. It’s one of my favorite features of the app and the best way to ensure that you don’t miss any of the fun activities during your sailing!
