Hi Amanda! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. You are just going to love October in the parks.
Halloween Time will be in full swing, Jack Skellington will have taken over Haunted Mansion Holiday, and Cars Land will be full of Haul-o-ween spirit! Truly, one of the best times to visit the Disneyland Resort!
Ok, let's dig into your question a bit! It sounds like you have purchased five
theme park tickets and made five corresponding
theme park reservations, but for some reason, the QR code was missing from two of the confirmation emails. I hope I got that right! The good news is that we can double-check that those reservations are attached to all five tickets. Likewise, because the reservations are attached to a specific ticket, typically you just need to scan your ticket barcode at the Main Entrance Gate and you are good to go. Rarely have I been asked to also show the QR code, but of course, I understand wanting to have all your Disneyland ducks in a row ahead of your trip.
To ensure that you have successfully made the five reservations, open up your
Disneyland Mobile App and head to the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner. Tap into "Future Plans" and you should see any theme park reservations you are currently holding sorted by date. You will also note that it confirms which park the reservation is for along with the number of Guests. I'm hoping there is a 5 in there! If you click on a specific date, you will move to the next page which will also give you the Confirmation Number for the reservations. I would go ahead and call our
Guest Services team and explain your situation directly. If you use this confirmation number, they should be able to pull up your reservations and give you a hand from there!
Before I send you off on your magical adventure, I want to make sure you have a few dates to remember marked on your calendar.
Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. If you are looking to grab a bite at popular spots like
Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland Park or
Lamplight Lounge at Disney California Adventure Park, you'll want to hop on and try to get those early at that 60-day mark. This is also a good idea if you're looking to include any dining packages with preferred viewing spots for some of the Nighttime Spectaculars. These tend to book up quickly! That being said, Guests are always changing their plans. If you don't see availability for your must-do dining experiences, keep checking! Reservations can pop up at any time, especially on the days just before your trip.
My last piece of advice is that the
Entertainment Schedule is usually released about six weeks ahead of time. This is a great way to take a look and EARmark any shows or performances you want to see while you're in the parks. It also gets me excited thinking about my trip! It's a great way to start to plan out some of those days or to kick off the count-down calendar!
Amanda, you are in for some magical times ahead. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Never stop dreaming!
