Welcome aboard, Nicole!
I am so excited to hear that you'll be enjoying the
Mediterranean Cruise on the Disney Magic very soon! You and your wonderful family will have an awesome time! There's just so much to see and so much to do in Europe. You'll be making lots of magical memories that you will remember forever!
Dining rotations could still change, so I recommend checking the Personal Navigator each night to confirm the following days' suggested attire. Usually, Formal or Dress Up night will be on Night 2. Pirate Night is on Night 9, and Semi-Formal night is on Night 10. Your Palo reservation on Night 6 sounds perfect! You would have already rotated through the 3 main dining rooms with your kids. So it's time for Date Night!
My kids were about the same age when we sailed the Med, and they still remember the fun that they had. Whenever we dine at Palo, we usually let our dedicated dining team know, so that they can expect our kids to be dining by themselves. Our kids actually made friends at the Youth Clubs, and guess what -- they had their own dinner party at our table that evening. Yes, 4 kids having a fancy steak dinner... on their own! Thank goodness they were all well behaved. It was an awesome experience, that they wanted to do it again. So, on every cruise that we have dinner at Palo, they ask to have their own little dinner party at our table with a friend or two. Our dedicated dining team does such a spectacular job taking care of them at dinner... the kids are entertained and are fed well. I love hearing my kids' stories about their fancy dinners on their own! There are always hilarious moments. But it's definitely an experience that they can only enjoy aboard the Disney Cruise.
Have a great adventure in Europe, Nicole!
