Your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is so memorable, and I am honoured to be a part of such a magical occasion. I still remember mine from when I was a kid, and I love getting to help other Guests experience the Disney magic for the first time too!
Since the Magical Express is no longer used at the Walt Disney World Resort, luggage tags do not always get delivered to your door anymore, nor do other documents since they are no longer necessary. Since you have a Resort hotel reservation, you can decide to purchase a MagicBand or
MagicBand+ and have it delivered to your home ahead of your trip! Resort hotel Guests can even benefit from special prices on their MagicBands, so it is truly a great offer. Lastly, I always like to buy a souvenir or two on my trips, so you could celebrate your first visit by ordering something special from
shopDisney and having it delivered before your trip. I know this is a bit different from what you were expecting, but there are still a few ways to make some Disney magic before your vacation! Once you arrive at your Resort hotel, however, make sure to pick up your "First Visit" button, as Cast Members will be able to join in on the magic with you.
Speaking of extra magic, did you know you will visit the Walt Disney World Resort during the most wonderful time of the year? Indeed, there is no better way to ring in the holiday season than by visiting the Disney Parks and enjoying all the Holiday chEAR they offer. I always love seeing each park's unique offerings, like
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park, the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and the Merry Menagerie at Disney's Animal Kingdom or the Holiday entertainment at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Outside of the theme parks, you can even visit incredible
gingerbread displays at select Disney Resort hotels or go through the
Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs. Finally, if you and your girlfriend are foodies like me, definitely keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, as they typically post seasonal Foodie Guides with all the best treats across Walt Disney World property.
