We have booked a package through Walt Disnet Travel Co, and cannot succefully link my booking ref (nnnnnnnn) on the Disney Experience App or website. Have tried calling the helpline but cannot wait for over an hour, is there something I am missing? Thanks

    Hello Justin,

As the current UK-based Panelist here at planDisney, it's my utmost pleasure to welcome you here to our pixie-dusted spot!

I'm thrilled to hear that you've been busy planning what's sure to be a practically perfect in every way holiday this coming June to the wonder of Walt Disney World Resort.  And, with so much to do in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, I feel sure that you'll find something to enthrall and entertain each Mouseketeer in your lovely family.

I understand that of course, it's never magical to have long call-waiting times.  However, it's more than supercalifragilisticexpialidocious to know that Guests like you and I from the United Kingdom are welcome to dial the UK freephone numbers contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory which enable us to connect with helpful Cast Members without any added expense.

Typically, when making a holiday package booking through the Walt Disney Travel Company, Guests receive an email containing their booking confirmation number, which along with their surname can be used to successfully link the reservation to their My Disney Experience account.

Justin, it might be useful for you to know that in my own experience, it can sometimes take up to 48 hours or more for a new holiday package booking to populate within Disney's booking system; therefore you might need to wait a couple of days to link if your holiday was only just arranged.

Another top tip when linking a holiday package booking to My Disney Experience is to access your account via a desktop computer and then follow these easy steps to link -

     - On a desktop computer, log in to My Disney Experience
     - Select My Plans
     - Hover over Resort Hotel and select Link Reservation - this opens up a new window
     - Follow the onscreen prompts to add the Resort Room Confirmation Number and Lead Passenger Name continuing until the actions are completed.

Plus, it might be good to know that for convenience, Guests can access their holiday booking via this handy Manage my Booking link.

Justin, I sincerely hope that I've been able to provide some useful hints and pointers for you today.  If you should have any further questions, then please don't hesitate to drop back to me here at planDisney.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
