    Hello, we booked a package with Ultimate tickets through WDTC in 2021. Genie+ was subsequently added for the entire stay. Do the Ultimate tickets still have to be changed to Magic tickets because of Genie+ or does this also work with the Ultimate tickets?

    Hey there, Kevin, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! 

    Kevin, I have some good news for you - you shouldn’t have to physically change your current Ultimate Theme Park Tickets; Mickey will do it for you! Generally speaking, Guests with packages that include Ultimate Tickets have automatically been updated to the Disney Magic Tickets, as those are currently available through the Walt Disney Travel Company. But to be on the safe side, I suggest calling Technical and Website Support to clarify everything with a Cast Member. 

    Additionally, this change does not affect your ability to use the Disney Genie+ Service during your vacation. The Genie has single-handedly helped me make the most of my Theme Park days! I personally think it’s the perfect upgrade to any Walt Disney World Resort vacation, especially if you are looking to board as many attractions as possible during your time in the Theme Parks! I’m not sure where this Genie guy came from, but I like him!
