Just booked a package for September 2025 with tickets. When/how do we get the free check in day water park tickets?

Hey, howdy, hey, Jaynee! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm excited about the Disney Water Park perk for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel in 2025 - it's one more way to embrace the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort and make a splash while on your vacation!

Jaynee, to utilize your complimentary water park admission on your check-in day, you will just head over to the Disney Water Park that is operating during your arrival and present your valid Disney Resort ID (MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile Pass, or Key to the World Card) for entry. Your entry ticket will be loaded onto your My Disney Experience account, so all you have to do is show up, tap into the park, and start making some waves!

To help you plan for your water park visit, keep in mind that the Disney Water Parks currently operate on a rotating schedule; when one is open to guests, the other is closed for updates and refurbishments. If history repeats itself in 2025, during your September visit, I would expect Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park to be open, but as your visit gets closer, be sure to verify the hours and park information online!

One more quick tip before I let you go today, Jaynee! With the complimentary Disney transportation available to guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel, making your way over to the water park is a breeze using the Disney bus system! To get to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, you will first take a bus from your resort hotel to Disney Springs and then transfer to the water park bus. To access Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, you will take a bus from your resort hotel to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and then transfer to a Blizzard Beach bus!

I hope this helps, Jaynee, and that you have a fin-tastic adventure at the water park on your vacation next year! Remember to swim back to planDisney with any other planning questions you might have!

    Just Keep Swimming,
    Alison
