DH an I have booked a package late Dec. We currently have a 1 day ticket for Epcot, so that we could get the dining plan with our package. Before we use this 1 day ticket, can we upgrade it to an annual pass? We have a few more trips to Disney next year.

    Hi there, Dana!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your great question!

As you know, the Magic Your Way vacation package must include a room and the same number of Park tickets for each member of your party in order to be a package where you can add one of the Disney Dining Plans. As an annual passholder myself, I've actually done exactly what you've mentioned in your question with the intention of upgrading that one-day ticket to an Annual Pass! Simply take your one-day ticket to any of the Guest Services locations in any of the 4 major Theme Parks or Downtown Disney and you'll be able to upgrade that ticket by paying the difference in price.

One of the things that makes it reasonable for me to leave a Walt Disney World vacation is knowing that it won't be too long before I'm able to come back. :) Our annual passes have definitely gotten their use this year! I'm thrilled that you have a few more trips planned this year and that you're already planning ahead for them!

If you think of any questions we can help with while you're planning, please feel free to let us know. We're glad to help!

    Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
