Hi, I booked a package with hotel and 2-days tickets, Classic and Adventure. Unfortunately, on the 1st day we won't be able to access the park, only the 2nd. Can we cancel the 1st day reservation and receive the reimbursement of the tickets? Thanks!

    Hi Angelo!

Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question. Your Disneyland Resort trip is almost here! I’m happy to share with you some options to make the most out of your tickets.

Let’s start with the less magical news, Disneyland tickets are nonrefundable. I know that’s not the news you were hoping for, but I have some ideas for how you can make the best of the situation.

    1) Use the Tickets: While check-in time is in the evening and check-out is in the morning, you are more than welcome to visit the park as long as you have a valid ticket and a park reservation. Don’t underestimate the power of a half day in the parks! Disneyland is open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM most days, so even if you enter the park at 4:00 PM, you can still get 8 hours of magical adventures! Just remember that multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of first use.

    2) Save the Tickets: The good news is that you can still use eligible, wholly unused, and unexpired tickets for another trip. Multi-day tickets purchased today through Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app can be used through January 12, 2027. Check to see when your tickets expire. If you see yourself coming back for another visit, cancel the park reservations attached to your current tickets and save them for a future trip. Then, purchase new tickets for your upcoming visit.

I hope this information was helpful, Angelo! If you have any more questions or need additional tips, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your next Disney adventure.

    Ciao!
