Hiya Angus! Welcome to planDisney! It's always fun getting a chance to talk about Disney with Guests from across the Atlantic!
I'm happy you have decided to book a vacation package that includes all of your travel needs. It's much easier to organize it this way! Depending on what type of park tickets you purchased will determine if you have access to park hopping. Currently,
Disney Magic Tickets are offered to all Guests coming from Great Britain. These tickets come in 7-day or 14-day increments and include the Park Hopper Option. Park Hopping allows you to be able to visit multiple theme parks each day. You'll still be required to make a park reservation to the first park you plan to visit each day, but then at 2 PM, you are allowed to hop over to any of the other three parks.
If for some reason you did not purchase Disney Magic Tickets, I would check the ticket itself to see if the
Park Hopper Option is included. If not, you can typically add this on for an additional cost. If your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, you may be able to log on and change your ticket to add this service. Once signed in, scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets" and select "Tickets & Memory Maker". There may be a "Change Ticket" option to click on to make any changes, otherwise, you'll need to
call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member for assistance.
Oh boy! I'm excited you have decided to visit the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season! I love being here during this time, enjoying all the decorations and displays set up throughout the parks and resorts. Main Street, U.S.A. at the Magic Kingdom Park is lined with festive décor and Disney Hollywood Studios is playing all of the Christmas hits!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is set to return this year and will be held on select nights during your stay. I hope you get a chance to check it out while you are there. Also, if you have some time, put Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on your list of resorts you need to stop by. Wilderness Lodge has an enormous tree at the center of the lobby that is magnificent to see up close. The Grand Floridian will typically have live-size gingerbread houses throughout the main lobby that are beautifully decorated.
Angus, I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming visit!
