Bonjour!
Welcome to planDisney, Lauren! Thank you for stopping by with your question about your upcoming trip. It looks like your vacation is just around the corner, and you will be experiencing everything
Disneyland Paris has to offer in just a week’s time. How exciting! I am sorry to read that your flights have been changed. Whilst that is definitely a bibbidi bobbidi bummer, at least they have been moved forward rather than backwards!
If the Magic Shuttle has been booked as part of a
Hotel + Ticket Package with Disneyland Paris, your Magic Shuttle journey has to take place during the vacation package itself, on your arrival date. You could cancel this add-on to your package by
contacting Disneyland Paris, and then make alternative travel arrangements to reach Marne-la-Vallée and your hotel for the night before your package starts. I highly recommend the high-speed train between Charles de Gaulle Airport and Disneyland Paris, as it only takes around 10 minutes. If you have booked the Magic Shuttle directly, you could contact this third-party company to see if any changes can be made. The contact details for the Magic Shuttle are
linked here for you.
I love visiting Disneyland Paris in January. I find the crowds a little lower, and I enjoy that the nights get darker earlier, which gives you more time to enjoy just how beautiful Disneyland Park looks after dark. Plus, you will be at the resort for the return of
Disney Stars on Parade following its Christmas hiatus. As you will be arriving at the resort a day earlier than your package begins, I have included a video with this answer where my pal Lizzie and I show just how easy it is to get to the city of Paris from Disneyland, just in case you fancy a trip on your first day.
I hope this helps you to plan your upcoming trip, Lauren. If you have any further questions before you arrive, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help!
Have a magical day!
Matt
