We booked a package through Costco and want to add the dining package. How do we do that?

Hi, Addison!  Welcome to planDisney!  Soon you'll be walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. taking in the sights, the smells and the TASTES of Walt Disney World.  Now let's dig in to your question.

Addison, with two options to choose from, a Disney Dining Plan can be an excellent way to add convenience and value to your vacation.  The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan includes two quick-service meals and one snack or nonalcoholic beverage per person over the age of 3 per night of your stay and one resort-refillable drink mug per person over the age of 3. The Disney Dining Plan provides a bit more flexibility and options in that instead of two quick-service meals per day, you get one quick-service meal and one table-service meal per day, as well as the daily snack and the mug,  I've personally enjoyed the Disney Dining Plan in the past, and both options are very popular among families who want to have as much as possible paid for in advance of their trip either for budgeting or convenience.

Packages that include a Disney Dining Plan are available by booking through the Walt Disney Travel Company and aren't available through Costco, which also means Disney Dining Plans can't be added to a package booked through Costco.

I do have an idea for you, though.  Another very popular option is to determine how much you'd like to budget for dining and purchase a Disney Gift Card in that amount.  I've calculated this for myself in the past either by perusing menus and adding up the cost of what we might order or by figuring what we might have spent for a Disney Dining Plan.  You can then use the gift card to pay for your meals.

While we are on the subject of food, did you know that the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be in full color while you are there?  It's one of my favorite festivals of the year and includes over 20 Food Studios, which give you so many options for sampling creatively crafted food and beverages you can only get at the festival. You can also watch shows from the Disney on Broadway Concert Series and meet Disney artists.

Addison, I hope you have a delicious vacation, and if you have any other questions, please stop back by so my planDisney pals and I can answer them for you.

    Have a magical trip!
