Greetings Russell!
“Adventure is out there!” But I don’t have to tell you since you are already planning a
Disney Magic at Sea voyage. A staycation vacation on the Disney Magic looks like an excellent adventure at sea for UK residents!
Captain Mickey doesn’t yet have the sail plans online for his Disney Magic at Sea itineraries. But after a little searching, I found out that for the 3-night sailings from
Tilbury (London), the Disney Magic plans to sail across towards the Netherlands, up North, then looping down all along the Eastern coast before returning to Tilbury (London). Guess that is why this is referred to as a closed loop cruise because that’s exactly the shape it makes! Naturally, the actual path the ship sails will be subject to adjustment by the Captain depending on the current conditions while cruising.
I’m sure that once you set foot on the
Disney Magic, you will have a better idea of the sail plans and they may even be viewable on your stateroom TV. I always like it when Disney Cruise Line shares all the nautical information about location in relation to its surroundings. Sounds like you will definitely need to check that out...think of it as earning your Wilderness Explorer badge!
Before you board, make sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Guests can use this app to access a full schedule of activities, entertainment, menus, and deck plans PLUS use the chat feature to keep connected with family and friends onboard. Plus, it will be an essential tool on your Disney Magic at Sea cruise offering some new features unique to this sailing, like a new virtual queue system, a Crew Member live chat, and reservations for popular complimentary and premium activities.
Russell, I hope this has been UP-lifting information for your vacation. We
planDisney panelists are always happy to help answer planning questions, and the good news is that it’s easy to find us online...thankfully much easier than steering a house lifted by balloons to Paradise Falls!
“Now go have a new adventure!”
