Hey there, Anna, and thanks so much for visiting planDisney! Your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is basically here - how exciting!
You can add days to your tickets - I just did this for my family's trip in November! The first step is to make sure that there are park reservations still available on the
Park Reservation Availability Calendar. Currently, it looks like there are reservations available for both parks for Jan 30 and 31, for example.
Assuming reservations are available for the additional day you'd like to visit, then you have two options to add an additional day. Your first option is to
call the Tickets line to speak to a Cast Member who can help you add that additional day. The other option would be to wait until you've arrived at the Disneyland Resort and visit one of the Main Entrance Ticket Booths. If you can, my recommendation would be to call - mostly to make sure you are able to get that park reservation secured!
My family and I visited the parks in November and originally had
3-day Park Hopper tickets, but we realized we would arrive earlier on our first day than we originally anticipated, so we upgraded our tickets to 4-day Park Hoppers instead! That way, we were able to drop off our luggage at our hotel room and go right into Disneyland Park to grab one of our favorite treats, the
Toydaria Swirl from the
Milk Stand in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (I've heard from some friends that this drink is an acquired taste and other friends absolutely love it - it's one of our favorites!) then we headed over to
Fantasyland and were able to enjoy that first evening in the park. We were so glad we added that extra day, and I'm sure you will be, too!
When you arrive this weekend, you'll be in the midst of the kickoff to the
Disney100 celebration and the grand opening weekend of the new
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway attraction. You are going to have so much fun!
Please stop by with any other follow-up questions you think of between now and your trip - feel free to
write me back directly! I hope you have a fantastic trip to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
