We have booked Ohana our first night at Disney at 8:20PM. We have three kids and were wondering if it is worth keeping the late reservation and taking a cab come to our resort afterward or trying to book another reservation for Yak and Yeti that evening?

    Hi Nicole,

'Ohana is our family's favorite dining experience. Although it might be a little late for your first day in Walt Disney World, I would not cancel the reservation. Keep checking as your vacation approaches to see if earlier times come available, but otherwise your experience will be memorable. Live entertainment, Hawaiian delicacies and gorgeous views of Seven Seas Lagoon make this a must-do for us on each trip. During Wishes fireworks the restaurant dims the lights and pipes in the music ... magical!

Your dinner will probably end somewhere around 10:00 p.m. You may find MK transportation still running, as buses will transport guests for about an hour after park closing. I'd head to the lobby in the Great Ceremonial House and ask the friendly valet Cast Members if transportation is still running to get you back to your Resort Hotel (I bet it will be.)

Alternatively, allow Valet to hail a cab and although it's an added expense, you'll be headed back to your hotel in no time.

    Have a magical vacation!
