We booked Ohana breakfast as my son loves Lilo and Stitch. We would like to do more character meals but everything seems to be a buffet, which hubby and I are not fans. Are there any character dining experiences that are table service dining?

Hi, Karen! Thanks for stopping by to see us with this great question. Let's explore character dining at the Walt Disney World Resort!

A delicious meal with friends is always a treat, but when those friends are Disney characters? That just adds to the magic! And while we've had our share of buffets, I do enjoy being able to sit and relax during our meal while we wait for our Disney pals to come greet us. You're right that many character dining experiences at Walt Disney World do seem to be buffets, but I have some suggestions that may be a nice addition to your plan to visit Lilo and Stitch at 'Ohana:

Garden Grill at Epcot: Meet Mickey, Pluto, and Chip & Dale with all-you-care-to-enjoy American classics served family-style at your table.

Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park: Dine with Cinderella and her princess friends inside the iconic Cinderella Castle.

Storybook Dining at Artist Point in Disney's Wilderness Lodge: Snow White and some of her dwarf buddies greet you as you enjoy a royal feast. But watch out for the Evil Queen!

Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno on Disney's BoardWalk: Rub elbows with royalty like Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, and Ariel and Prince Eric while you enjoy breakfast fare with a Mediterranean flair.

I hope this gives you something to "chew" on while making your plans, Karen. And be sure to come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
