Booked a Norwegian Fjords Iceland cruise for August. I saw a Disney video advertising a farm excursion in Norway where Anna and Elsa show up. When I look on the list though I cannot find it. Also,1st day in Reykjavik will excursions be available so late?

    Hi there, Carolyn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  What an adventure you have planned for next summer!!  My family has sailed through the Norwegian Fjords and it was simply magnificent!  I always looked forward to each morning as we made our way to the port because the views were incredible…so make a point to head to the top deck to catch some incredible sights.

Disney Cruise Line’s Port Adventures team does an incredible job of putting together a variety of excursions for Guests to get to experience the best of the best when on land!  The problem with having so many great options to choose from is that you do have to choose!  I always struggle with that because I want to do it all and deciding is just so tricky!  I do know exactly which Frozen- themed excursion you are referring to, but unfortunately, currently it is only being offered for Guests that visit Alesund, Norway.  Since they are always working to find the best options for Guests, there is always the chance that the same excursion – or something similar – will be available when your onboard booking window opens!  So, definitely keep your eyes open for new and unique offerings for your specific voyage!

With two days in Reykjavik, there will be a variety of departure times offered for Guests and depending on what it is you choose to do will determine when your return to the ship will be.  When my family was looking at a similar itinerary for our own summer vacation, I learned that Guests are not required to return to the ship at night, which opens up a lot of opportunities!  While, I know I would want to make my way back to a cozy bed at night, it was nice to know we could stay out later than normal, if we chose to!  With long days and SO MUCH TO SEE and DO in Iceland, I would be eager to experience as much as possible during my time there!

Boy, oh boy do you have an adventure planned!  I am so excited for you and know you will have the best time.  As your planning continues, please come back with any other questions you have!

    Happy Sailing!
